WOW!! A Great addition to my new kitchen when I decided to paint my new kitchen & dinning room Red & Yellow I was wondering what color plate's would look good with the color's I picked out.I went into Belk's & just happen to see their new display with the Fiesta square Scarlet(Red) & Sunflower(Yellow) mixed matched together & I fell in love with them they were perfect, just what I had been looking for. I get the most compliments on them I have them mixed & matched they blend together & the square plates looks very, very pretty on my table thanks Fiesta for coming up with a great idea. Even my husband likes them & that's saying something

A novel idea, although the square shape is contrary to the original idea behind the concentric rings and the Art Deco styling of the original vintage Fiesta. With all the new colors coming out of Newell, do we dedicated Fiesta collectors really need to start collecting a whole new shape of Fiesta? I think not. I wouldn't have room in my house for square Fiesta even if I wanted it! I have a feeling this square Fiesta will quickly go the way of "Fiesta 2000". (Does anyone even remember Fiesta 2000? Anyone??? No? Well, point made!) For dedicated Fiesta collectors, this new square "Fiesta" isn't really "Fiesta" at all! Square "Fiesta" is just a marketing strategy designed to attract new customers who aren't at all interested in Fiesta by offering them a new product that isn't really related to the old product. "Fiesta" is round like a record baby! This new square stuff should be renamed; maybe they can call it "Squareware" because as far as I'm concerned it's made strictly for squares from squaresville! (P.S. Note to Halley: "Allot" isn't a word. You mean to write "a lot".)

I love these square dinner plates, they are big but not too big and have a good deep rim so they hold allot of sauce. The yellow are my favorite.
